Thousands Rescued from Forced Cybercrime Labor

Philippines police rescued 1,534 Filipinos and 1,190 others from a variety of different countries from a forced labor compound in Las Pinas.

The “workers were lured in by Facebook ads with promises of high salaries and fair working conditions for remote support jobs. Instead, they were forced into working for cybercrime groups.
